Describe Yourself:For many years I worked as a Social Worker with abused and neglected children.I am also an aspiring poet/writer.I have been writing for a couple of years now.I write mostly about Loss,and Love and created an e-book on bookrix.com.I have submitted some of my poems to various literary magazines,and entered a poetry contest on facebook,where I was among 8 finalists.I love Neil Young's music and most classic rock from the 60's and 70's.I am a full time caregiver for an elderly uncle.During my free time I love going to the movies,reading a good book,strolling around manhattan,and going to book sales.I do not smoke and only drink occasionally.

Susan Budig, Oct 3, 2009, 3:21PM EDTHi Frannie, Mindful Poetry accepts poems in any recognized form of poetry. Examples, but not limited to: sonnet, pantoum, sestina, limerick, haiku, villanelle, etc.
It helps me to put the form you are using in the tags of the piece, also include "mindful poetry". :-) -
